Maray na Aldaw, Legazpi!
Mozilla Philippines will be hosting a MozCoffee in Legazpi, Albay (LA) on Sunday at the Embarcadero de Legazpi. This event will be the second leg of the Bicol MozTour that will kick off with the Open Web Day in Naga City, Camarines Sur. This will be the first time that Mozilla will visit the city that is home to many academic institutions, and freelance web developers, both of which are users of Firefox. Unlike the Open Web Day that will focus on localization, the MozCoffee will be a round-table discussion on how to contribute back to community, as well as spread the use of Firefox–both on the desktop and the mobile.
Legazpi City in Albay is known for its scenic beauty by the sea and the magnificent Mayon Volcano that provides a panoramic background to many Bicol sites. Although visited by many seismic events and typhoons, Albay is the tenth richest province in the Philippines, in part due to its vibrant tourism industry. It also boasts of having zero-casualty record during natural disasters.
So sign up now here and let’s talk everything about Mozilla over coffee.
