August is Language Month (Ang Agosto ay Buwan ng Wika)

August is Language Month (Buwan ng Wika) based on Proclamation 1041 signed by Fidel V. Ramos on 15  January 1997. One way to celebrate the Language Month is to participate in the Localization of Mozilla Products such as Firefox (Aurora), Firefox OS, and Web Parts. Tagalog Firefox Translation Marathon 1Q2013

Mozillian Localizers for the Tagalog Firefox Project gathered earlier today (a non-working holiday all throughout the country in celebration of National Day of Valor) at the Highlands Coffee, Alphaland Southgate Tower Mall in Makati City to have a Translation Marathon. It is the last weekend for 2012, but Team Mozilla Philippines is very busy organizing the last Tagalog Firefox Translation Marathon for the year. Mozilla Philippines at the Lipa City Colleges IT Convention 2012

Team Mozilla Philippines traveled some 170 kilometers today from the National Capital Region (NCR) down south to Lipa City in the province of Batangas to participate in the very first Lipa City Colleges (LCC) IT Convention organized by the Phil-IT.org.
