The Mozilla Philippines Community inaugurated today the Mozilla Community Space Manila (@MozSpaceMNL) as part of the non-profit’s Community Space Initiative Program. No less than Mozilla’s William Quiviger was present at the occasion. Team MozillaPH Visits Mindoro for the First Time

Team MozillaPH traveled some 276 kilometers south of Manila to reach Innovative College of Science & Technology in Bongabong, Mindoro. To reach the MozTour venue, the team had to travel by land and sea (ferry) for almost ten (10) hours — one way (Google Maps’ estimated travel time is kinda off by several hours, noting that the ferry ride alone is around 180 minutes). Back-to-School Maker Party

Last August 2, in celebration of Maker Party Season, the Mozilla Philippines Community organized a Maker Party for Students from Metro Manila. The team introduced what the Webmaker Project, including the tools that they can use in learning and teaching the Web. For the very first time, Team MozillaPH visited the Asia Pacific College (APC) in Makati City to conduct a MozTour (in the morning) and a Firefox OS Workshop (in the afternoon).
